Topping The Tables: A Conversation With Table Tops CLE About Their Casa Del Lago Project

If you’ve been on Facebook lately you may have noticed several ads popping up surrounding an opportunity to help support a local Springfield Township business. This business would be none other than the local Mexican restaurant, Casa Del Lago, and its goal is to incorporate the community and surrounding businesses in its new table project. Casa Del Lago is currently offering businesses, non-profits, and individuals the chance to become a lasting part of their establishment by offering ad placement on their new tables in partnership with Table Tops CLE

We had the pleasure of being able to interview Kent, the President of Table Tops CLE, about their company and their involvement with this project.

Experience Springfield Township: Can you please tell us a little bit about each organization?

Table Tops CLE: Tabletop Productions have been in business for 23 years supporting locally owned businesses with targeted captive audience advertising! We have a passion for the local business owner, and we want to make sure that all residents within a 20-mile radius are fully aware of how, and when they can support that business first and foremost. We proudly believe that there’s no better way to represent your company to the local community than during meal time to help produce and develop referral business.

Experience Springfield Township: Can you tell us a little bit about how the partnership came about?

Table Tops CLE: Tabletop Productions had a long-standing relationship with Dana, the previous owner of the restaurant when it was the Firehouse Grill. After ownership changed, she got us in touch with the new owners, who we are very excited about supporting to help them further develop their brand in the area.

Experience Springfield Township: Can you tell us how Casa Del Lago is different from other Mexican restaurants in the area?

Table Tops CLE: I think the first answer is obvious. They have tremendous community support, just look at their Facebook page and you’ll see how busy they are throughout the week, especially on the weekends! They are also supported by a great ownership team that has had restaurant experience for quite a long time and in multiple locations!

Experience Springfield Township: Can you tell us why people should advertise with the table promotion?

Table Tops CLE: We absolutely believe in our product at the highest level! Nowhere else, can you advertise for three or more years for such a low-cost number one! Secondly, nowhere else, will you get a captive audience for roughly an hour, reviewing your ad and starting to discuss it, with other people at the table! Thirdly, we believe that local communities have a passion for supporting other local businesses and this is a great way to differentiate you from large, corporate businesses, or simply other competitors!!

Experience Springfield Township: Can you tell us why Table Tops CLE love Springfield Township?

Table Tops CLE: We love this community because of just that, the relationships and commitment to community outreach in this area are second to none! You see this for support of your local high school sports teams as an example! You see this in terms of the outreach and the charitable involvement of many people in the area, And there just seems to be an authentic heartbeat of compassion that we want to support and feature in this area!

Experience Springfield Township: Can you please include contact information on how they can get in touch to purchase a spot?

In closing, owner Kent said, “My wife and I grew up in Northeast, Ohio, we currently reside in Brunswick with our 4 kids, and supporting this project, would also be supporting another local entrepreneur! Thank you in advance!”

Owner of T2 Design, Taylor Abshire

One local business owner, Taylor Abshire of T2 design said the following about his decision to advertise with the project, “There are many reasons why I chose to advertise with a local small business restaurant. As business owners, we learn to help other business owners.  Advertising, even in a small way, builds brand awareness for you and the local businesses you support. It was an easy decision for me to decide to go with this unique advertising opportunity.  Local businesses provide vital services and products to our communities. They are the backbone of the economy and often the largest employers in their respective towns or cities. Supporting them is not only good for business, but it's also good for the community as a whole.

It is a great way to give back to the community and support local businesses. By advertising with the restaurant, I can show my support and gain new customers at the same time. So next time you're thinking about where to spend your money, remember that supporting small businesses is good for everyone involved.”

As Springfield Township once again becomes a hot spot for entrepreneurs of all different industries and walks of life, this is truly one project that those looking to grow might be interested in pursuing.
