Get The Inside Scoop On Sacred Grove Yoga Studio In Our Interview With Owner Jessica Kaisk

What inspired you to start your studio? Embarking on the journey of opening Sacred Grove Yoga Studio wasn't just a personal endeavor for me; it was a response to the heartfelt requests of our community. Numerous individuals expressed a desire for a yoga practice that went beyond the norm – one that was gentle, intentional, and focused on mindfulness. It was these conversations and the shared longing for a more deliberate practice that led to the inception of Sacred Grove.

The studio's roots trace back to the humble beginnings of free classes at Springfield Lake in 2015. What started as a response to community needs has organically blossomed into the vibrant and welcoming space that is Sacred Grove today. It's been an incredible journey.

What is offered at the studio? At Sacred Grove, we're committed to offering traditional yoga classes that prioritize relaxation and focus. Our classes are carefully designed with modifications for every level, ensuring inclusivity for beginners and seasoned practitioners alike. The heart of our practice lies in upholding integrity and tradition in every class, with a promise never to skip savasana, so each session offers a complete yoga experience.

I'm immensely proud of the community we've built at Sacred Grove. It's a place where everyone, regardless of experience, can find comfort and support.

What do you love about Experience Springfield Township? I want to extend my gratitude to Experience Springfield Township for its mission. Despite the occasional negative mindset surrounding this area and the oversight that it's part of Akron, Springfield Township is a gem with a community full of small businesses. Experience Springfield Township magazine beautifully showcases the best this area has to offer, highlighting its true essence.

What can people expect from the open house? As a token of appreciation for our community, we're thrilled to announce our Open House on January 27th. The day will feature a series of free classes starting at 9:00 am and running until 4:00 pm. To secure your spot, simply register online. On this special day, we're offering door prizes and exclusive discounts on memberships available only during the Open House. If you've been contemplating starting your yoga journey or are curious to explore what Sacred Grove has to offer, this is the perfect opportunity. Join us in creating a space where the mind and body find harmony.
