Arnold's Candies: Deep Rooted History in Springfield Township

Since 1953, Arnold's Candies has been manufacturing the world's best candies by hand in Akron, Ohio. Arnold’s Candies takes a lot of pride in remaining part of the Akron community in its original building where the quaint retail shop is still open to stop in for fresh sweet treats. 2023 marks the 70th year Arnold’s Candies has been a part of Springfield Township and each year is a new, record-breaking year for the humble candy company.

Arnold’s Candies is now one of the few manufacturers that can supply big brands and distributors while keeping the small batch, high-quality standards it has always valued. Arnold’s Candies accomplishes this with a team of four cooks who are trained to become master confectioners who handle each batch with a keen eye and unique craft. The company also has 8 other employees who are trained in quality and provide exceptional skills throughout the production process. Arnold’s Candies believes it has the best staff and morale it has ever had and that is a key component in its ability to provide the high quality and production that sets them apart from other machine-run confectioners. While keeping with their humble beginnings, Arnold’s Candies is growing into a successful manufacturing business with a specialty in products rarely seen made by hand in the United States today.

Arnold's Candies uses the very best ingredients combined with old-fashioned techniques to manufacture the finest quality candy all day, every day. Customers can still stop by the local retail shop at 931 High Grove Blvd. in Akron to grab some of the classic candies or try out some new, limited-edition flavors that you won’t find anywhere else!
