We are thrilled to invite each and every one of you to participate in the Experience Springfield Township Community and Business Awards! As we mark our one year anniversary and the milestone of reaching one thousand followers, we want to celebrate the collective spirit and contributions that make our community thrive.

  • Nomination Deadline : April 14th at 9:00 PM

  • Voting Period April 15th, starting at 1:00 PM, through April 25th, ending at 9:00 PM

This is your opportunity to nominate and vote for the businesses, organizations, and individuals who have left a lasting impact on Springfield Township and the Village of Lakemore. Whether it's recognizing a new business, celebrating a memorable community event, or honoring a selfless individual who embodies the heart of our community, your voice matters.

Award Categories and Criteria:

Best New Business (established within the last 2 years)

- Criteria: This award will be given to a business that has been established within the last two years and has demonstrated outstanding performance, innovation, and community engagement since its inception. Factors to consider include business growth, customer satisfaction, community involvement, and unique offerings.

Best Community Event

- Criteria: This award recognizes an event that has significantly contributed to the community's social, cultural, or economic development. The event should have successfully engaged and brought together members of the community, fostering a sense of unity, celebration, or awareness around a specific cause or interest. Factors to consider include attendance, impact, creativity, and inclusivity.

Non-Profit Of The Year

- Criteria: This award honors a non-profit organization that has made a significant positive impact on the community through its mission, programs, and services. Consideration will be given to the organization's effectiveness in addressing community needs, transparency, volunteer involvement, and the overall impact of its initiatives.

Heart Of A Spartan Award

- Criteria: This award recognizes an individual who embodies the spirit of a Spartan by demonstrating exceptional leadership, selflessness, and dedication to serving the community. Nominees may include teachers, first responders, church leaders, or any individual who has gone above and beyond to support and uplift others, often at personal sacrifice.

Springfield Future Award

- Criteria: This award celebrates an individual who has played a significant role in driving positive change and progress within Springfield Township or the village of Lakemore. The recipient should have demonstrated leadership, vision, and initiative in addressing key challenges, promoting growth, or improving the quality of life for residents. Factors to consider include innovation, collaboration, and long-term impact on the community's future development.

Additional Information

In addition to these awards, the local Chamber of Commerce will also present an award of their choosing during the ceremony, highlighting another outstanding contribution to our community.

The winners of these prestigious awards will be announced during our live-streamed celebration event on April 27th, where we'll come together as a united community to applaud those who have made a positive difference in our shared experience.
